Sources: OpenRouter and Vercel AI Gateway supply the route lists and per-token pricing. Artificial Analysis supplies intelligence and speed scores. A GitHub Action updates the dataset daily. Current data was generated 30 Oct 2026 UTC. Routes without a score are marked "not scored".

Method: Cost per task uses 4,000 input tokens and 1,000 output tokens at each route's listed prices. The top 10 lists five free routes by intelligence score and five paid routes by value index. The value index divides the Artificial Analysis score by the estimated cost of 1,000 requests at that input and output size. A tilde marks prices that vary by backing provider. The tracker leaves out InferX because its catalog has no public pricing endpoint.
